We are currently seeking to add a Revit Trainer / Applications Manager to our team of highly skilled professionals in our Halifax office. The successful candidate will report to the Managing Principal and will be responsible for working collaboratively with staff and involves training and supporting BIM users in the application of BIM related software including but not limited to Revit Architecture. Continuing to support the transition from AutoCAD to BIM use for current and new employees.

Responsibilites will also include:

  • Develop and customize in-house applications training programs
  • Facilitate training seminars and programs for internal staff
  • Training and supporting staff in the use and application of Autodesk, Revit Architecture
  • Support users on projects as the applications subject matter expert and manage all aspects relating to the usage of industry software
  • Develop and maintain in house standards and component libraries

    Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years Revit Training experience in an Architectural firm
  • Bachelor’s or Master degree in Architecture
  • Expert in Autodesk BIM software including Revit Architecture
  • Knowledge of the architectural design process
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in training large groups
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent prioritizing, planning and organizational skills

    The following qualifications are considered an asset:

  • An understanding of professional services supporting large commercial projects
  • Autodesk Certified Instructor/Professional
  • LEED AP with designation preferred
  • Experience in building design and construction phases
  • Knowledge in engineering, analysis and project management software
